While RentalWise offers various options for importing your property (learn more HERE), we understand that you might prefer to create a property from scratch within the platform. This process is straightforward and allows you to fully customize your property according to your needs.
Steps to Create a Property
The creation process is broken down into six easy steps, making it easy for you to add all the necessary information. The process can start from the PMS Module on the left-hand menu and by clicking on Create Property.
Key Things to Remember:
Editable Information: During the creation process, all information can be edited later, except for the Pricing Type. You will need to choose between Nightly or Seasonal pricing. If you need to change the pricing type later, our Support Team can assist you.
Customizable Details: If you can’t find the exact Property Type, Amenities, or Bed Types that fit your needs during the setup process, don’t worry! You can add and customize these details later.
Pending Status: Once you’ve completed the process, your property will be in pending status. This means it won’t be available on your website or distributed via integrations until it is enabled and connected.
Instant Booking Vs Request to Book: We understand how important it is to manage your bookings effectively. If you prefer a Request to Book option instead of Instant Booking and plan to distribute your property on Airbnb, you will need to reach out to our Customer Support Team for assistance.
Minimum Nightly Rate: Setting a Minimum Nightly Rate acts as a safeguard for your pricing. While this won't define your rates and availability directly, it ensures that your prices don’t drop below a certain threshold due to discounts or special offers. If a reservation calculation results in a rate lower than your minimum, you'll be notified
