Having a clear understanding of what you can customize in RentalWise is key to making the most of your setup. Property Types help guests make informed decisions by providing accurate details about your listings, which can significantly impact their booking choices.
For example, while some may use the term bungalow loosely, a true bungalow has specific architectural features: a single-story structure with a front porch and overhanging roof supported by beams. If your property is mistakenly listed under the wrong type, guests searching for a bungalow may overlook your listing entirely.
How to Check Your Property Type
📌 Note: If you import your properties from Airbnb, the property type is automatically set based on Airbnb’s settings.
You can verify or update the Property Type in RentalWise by:
1. Going to PMS > Select Property > Property Information
2. Selecting the correct type from the Property Type dropdown menu
How to Add a New Property Type
1.Navigate to Settings > Property Types > Add Property Type
2. Assign it to your property by following the steps above
